Pete is a climber, mountaineer, sea canoeist and long distance rider. He has climbed and trekked through the Pyrenees, Alps, Norway and the Himalayas of Nepal and Ladahk, and he also ran an outdoor centre on the Isle of Mull. He has cycled through many parts of the world for extended periods and has been leading CTC tours for some years. He can usually put bits of people and bikes back together.
