I am a keen cyclist, riding regularly with local clubs, and have toured extensively in Britain and 13 other countries, including many in Europe, Turkey, India, China, Vietnam, New Zealand and Australia. I have ridden over 55,000 miles during the last 13 years and I like to experience different cultures and enjoy dramatic scenery, especially that of the Far East.
I takes part in several Sportives each year and rode the 200k 1st Stage of the 2007 Tour de France from London to Canterbury and have ridden many Cols in the French and Italian Alps.
My other interests are collecting and riding old bicycles, photography, film making and charity work through Rotary
