The classic tour. Arran, Mull, Iona and more, and a chance to visit the most westerly point of mainland Britain. 45-65mpd but averaging about 50-55, mostly on quiet roads all with spectacular scenery. 5 ferry crossings. Red squirrels, eagles and deer a possibility. A mixture of hotel, SYHA and good private hostels.

The best of Scottish riding, with some good climbs and descents. Using a mixture of hostel accommodation, some may offer twin rooms, others like the SYHA will have more traditional small dorms. One night in a hotel with evening meal and breakfast included.
