Myanmar has opened up to tourism and has stunning attractions along with a fascinating history and culture. This tour of the 'Golden Land' visits the iconic sites of Yangon, Inle Lake, Mandalay, Bagan and Mount Popa. Cycle across the Shan highlands and cruise down the Irrawaddy River. Fly London Heathrow/Yangon.

Myanmar is a large and diverse country stretching from the tropical Andaman Sea in the south to the Himalayan foothills in the north. It is home to more than a hundred ethnic groups. The predominant religion is Buddhism and the country is home to some of the world’s most sacred Buddhist sites. Cycling will be mainly on roads with the longest cycling distance being 73km. There will be rest days and also times when cycling distances are shorter to allow time for sightseeing.
