Information for CTC Holidays customers

COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

1 August 2020 update:
With the impact of COVID-19 being felt across the world it has been a difficult year for us all. We have taken the decision to cancel most of our tours this year in order to keep you, our customers, safe. We know how this has led to many disappointments across our loyal participants and want to reassure you that we have not deserted you.
We are busy planning our tours for 2021 and beyond and hope to be able to launch some new tours in the next few months. Please watch this space or sign-up for our newsletter to ensure that you are the first to know when new tours are launched.

27 April 2020 update:
The directors of CTC Cycling Holidays have reviewed the impact of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak on holidays departing from 1 July 2020 to 31 August 2020 and have made the decision to cancel these holidays. If you have a booking for one of the affected holidays you will shortly receive a cancellation invoice and all payments made to CTC Cycling Holidays will be reimbursed in full as soon as possible. Unfortunately we will not be able to reimburse additional expenses, for example flights for land only tours, and you will need to contact your airline or travel agent.
Those booked on the CTC Birthday Rides will receive an update from the Birthday Rides organisers soon.
New bookings for all future holidays will continue to be suspended. The situation is being constantly monitored and further updates will be provided as and when the situation changes.

16 April 2020 update:
The directors of CTC Cycling Holidays have again reviewed the impact of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak on holidays departing from 1 July 2020 onwards and, at this stage, have decided not to cancel any further holidays. New bookings for all holidays and the CTC Birthday Rides will continue to be suspended. The situation is being constantly monitored and further updates will be provided as and when the situation changes.

7 April 2020 update:
The directors of CTC Cycling Holidays have decided, at this stage, not to cancel any further holidays that are due to depart from 1 July 2020 onwards. New bookings for all holidays and the CTC Birthday Rides will continue to be suspended. The situation is being constantly monitored and further updates will be provided as and when the situation changes.

19 March 2020 update:
As part of the National Cycling Charity Cycling UK, we continue to support and encourage the UK’s population to cycle. This remains true during this difficult period with the global ongoing threat of corona virus. However, the safety and welfare of our Tour Managers and participants is a priority. We have a core team keeping a close eye on the advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, local and National Governments and the NHS and we are following their advice to minimise risk.
We have taken the decision to suspend all future tour bookings and are cancelling all tours in the UK and abroad with a departure date up to and including 30 June 2020. If you have a booking for one of the affected holidays you will shortly receive a cancellation invoice and all payments made to CTC Cycling Holidays will be reimbursed as soon as possible. Unfortunately we will not be able to reimburse additional expenses, for example flights for land only tours, and you will need to contact your airline or travel agent.
Tours departing after 30 June 2020 will be reviewed on 6 April and an update will be circulated following that.
We appreciate that this news will be disappointing but we trust that you support our decision and hope that you will soon be enjoying the very special tours that CTC Cycling Holidays have been offering for many years.
