Happily married to Sarah with two children, Neil has toured all over the world since the age of 17 when he took off with a friend and a tent for a month round Europe. In 1997, Neil spent 11 months cycling to Australia with Sarah on a tandem and has subsequently chaired the Tandem Club for 8 years and overseen the touring events for 12.
Neil has led nearly 60 tours for CTC Holidays, of a huge variety, from family holidays in campsites and chateaus, to self contained trips throughout America, to back up assisted tours all over the world, having visited North and South America, Africa, Europe and many areas of Asia. (Australasia is on the future list)
Neil's role within CTC Holidays is to oversee the worldwide touring program, liaise between managers and board and mentor new managers.

A challenging tour for fit adventurous cyclists, all off-road and travelling through remote areas. From Ulaanbaatar fly to the Gobi desert. The route to Karakorum traverses desert, mountains and vast open plains, home to the remaining traditional nomadic people. Some accommodation will be in tents (wild camping) and in yurts (tourist Ger camps).

Participate in France's principal cycle touring event. Based at a Cognac château complex, with seven acres of private parkland, swimming pools, a snooker table and BBQ area. Daily loop rides as part of the Semaine Federal. 50-100kmpd. Plenty of croissants/pains au chocolate. A fantastic way of enjoying the event.

Travel by cycle and by boat through spectacular mountain and jungle scenery of one of the least travelled countries in SE Asia. Experience the Mekong River as well as Luang Prabang, with its colourful temples, and a stopover in Bangkok. Full vehicle support. Fly London Heathrow/Bangkok/Chiang Rai, returning from Bangkok.
